My idiotically named character

I finally turned into the type of gamer I hate. Of course, I am talking about the guy who names his online character some idiotic name in an online fantasy role playing setting.

For the first time in weeks, I loaded up World of Warcraft and played around for about 15 minutes before getting really irritated and bored. Whenever that happens, I tend to roll up new characters. And, even though I have a rogue which is level 60 on another server, and despite knowing damned well that no one likes to have rogues in their party, I created another one.

Diegosanchez, my new level 1 troll rogue.

Diego Sanchez happens to be an insanely good UFC lightweight fighter. His nickname is “The Nightmare” and while he is literally 150 lbs, he can absolutely kick your ass (I don’t even need to know the size or fighting ability of the person reading this post, he can STILL kick your ass).

So I have become the person I hate in online games – the guy (or gal) who names his fantasy character something idiotic. I’ve been defeated. Morons everywhere have finally turned me into a conformist.
